blue taekwondo mats, carved pine,  one inch pine board (used for board breaking in martial arts), pine pedestal with laser-engraved text, banana tree from Florida, hand-made wooden frame, digital printed image of my childhood backyard in 2009 from a realtor website, family photo of my first board break, hand-painted pine that resembles the road sign for the town of Florida in Massachusetts, found Sony stereo with a CD of recordings from when I learned guitar from my father over the summer, hand-bound book, This is not my ocean,  to be read while sitting by the pool.

This is not my ocean is a hand-bound book of text and images that accompanies this work. 50 copies were bound and sold, and a flip through video is available here.

This work was exhibited at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University as part of the 2021 Senior Thesis Exhibition: Proximity, which can be viewed here.
